Matteo Polisi
Head Coach
Matteo Polisi is a Canadian professional soccer player known for his creativity, vision, and technical skill. With over 50 professional appearances across Canada, Europe, and Australia, he has competed at top levels, including the CONCACAF Champions League.
He began his journey at age four with Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC and later gained early training experience with Belgian club Standard Liège. After time in the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy and further development with the Portland Timbers, he completed European trials with Derby County, Birmingham City, and FC Nürnberg reserves teams.
At Simon Fraser University, Polisi emerged as one of NCAA Division II’s standout players, earning GNAC Freshman of the Year, multiple All-American honours, and West Region Player of the Year, finishing with 36 goals and 18 assists in 52 matches. After attending the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, he launched his professional career with Pacific FC, helping the club secure the 2021 Canadian Premier League title.
Polisi later joined TSS FC Rovers, where he made notable contributions in the Canadian Championship, and spent part of 2023–24 playing in Greece with Anagennisi Epanomi. He returned to TSS FC Rovers in 2024 before signing with Cumberland United FC in Australia in 2025.

MArcello Polisi
Head Coach
Marcello Polisi is a Canadian professional midfielder known for his vision, passing ability, and composure on the ball. He plays for Detroit City FC in the USL Championship. A product of the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy, he trained with Whitecaps FC 2, gained international youth experience with Standard Liège, competed against elite academies including Chelsea and Lille, and captained his teams at various youth age levels. He also represented Canada at the U‑15 level.
Polisi starred at Simon Fraser University, becoming one of the program’s most accomplished midfielders. He earned NCAA All‑American honours, was named GNAC Player of the Year, and served as team captain. He also played with TSS FC Rovers in USL League Two during his collegiate career, where he captained the team.
After attending the 2021 MLS SuperDraft, he turned professional by signing with HFX Wanderers FC, where he played during the 2021–2022 seasons. He then joined Valour FC for 2023 and 2024, and in January 2025 moved to Detroit City FC. Entering his 6th professional season, Polisi has made 68+ appearances across Canada and the United States, facing top clubs including Toronto FC, CF Montréal, Chicago Fire, and Santos Laguna.
